WELCOME TO THE SHADY NOOK RECREATION CENTRE

Shady Nook Recreation Centre believes in teaching children the skills of the sport as well as good sportsmanship.
Located in Laurentian Valley, Shady Nook Recreation Centre has a fully functional outdoor hockey rink, soccer field and recreation center for parties and events.

Soccer Season

Runs from May to August every year. We offer this program to children between the ages of 3 (turning 4 by December) – 13.

We play from Monday – Thursday in the evenings.

Hockey Season

Runs from November (pre-season) to March (weather dependent).

Program is offered to children ages 5 (as of December 31st of that year) through 16.

Hall Rental

The rec centre features a beautiful hall that can be used for weddings, anniversary parties, birthday parties, stag and does and any other function.

The centre can hold up to 225 people. We have a fully equipped kitchen and Wifi as well as a projector and sound system.
